At Bel Abidjan, we are committed to providing transparent services in compliance with Ivorian regulations applicable to travel agencies and tourism providers. This policy defines the cancellation and refund conditions for bookings made through our platform https://belabidjan.com.

1. Cancellation by the User

1.1 Withdrawal Period

In accordance with Ivorian consumer protection laws, the user has a 14-day withdrawal period starting from the booking confirmation date, unless the service has already begun or has been fully delivered.

1.2 Cancellation Conditions

  • Cancellation more than 7 days before the activity date: full refund of the amount paid, excluding potential banking fees.
  • Cancellation between 3 and 7 days before the activity date: refund of 50% of the amount paid.
  • Cancellation less than 72 hours before the activity date or no-show on the day: no refund will be issued.

1.3 Procedure

Any cancellation request must be made in writing and sent to bel.abidjan.pro@gmail.com. Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within a maximum of 14 business days.

2. Cancellation by the Provider

2.1 Right to Cancel

The provider may cancel an activity in case of exceptional circumstances (unfavorable weather, safety issues, unexpected unavailability).

2.2 User Compensation

  • In the event of cancellation by the provider, the user will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
  • When possible, an equivalent activity or rescheduled date may be offered as an alternative.

3. Cancellation by Bel Abidjan

3.1 Force Majeure

Bel Abidjan may be required to cancel a booking due to force majeure (natural disasters, social unrest, administrative decisions). In such cases, the user will receive a full refund.

3.2 Technical or Administrative Reasons

If Bel Abidjan must cancel for technical reasons related to the platform or for circumstances beyond its control, a full refund will be issued.

4. Exceptions and Special Cases

4.1 Non-Refundable Activities

Certain specific activities (shows, dated events, non-changeable tickets) may be non-refundable. This will be clearly indicated at the time of booking.

4.2 Banking Fees and Commissions

Any banking fees related to the refund process (local or international banks, payment providers) are the responsibility of the user.

5. Claims and Disputes

In case of a dispute related to a refund request or the execution of an activity, the user may contact:

  • Bel Abidjan customer service at bel.abidjan.pro@gmail.com.
  • The competent authorities in Côte d’Ivoire, in accordance with the Tourism Code and the Commercial Courts of Abidjan.

6. Governing Law

This policy is governed by Ivorian law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts within the jurisdiction of Abidjan.
