Bel Abidjan is a digital platform that allows:

  • Travelers to discover and book tourist, cultural, sports, and wellness activities in Côte d’Ivoire.
  • Local providers (guides, agencies, hotels, clubs, artisans, etc.) to offer their services and connect with both local and international customers.

1.2 Role of Bel Abidjan

Bel Abidjan acts solely as an intermediary between users and providers. The company does not directly sell the services offered and cannot be held liable for the improper performance of an activity by a provider, except in cases provided for by law.

2. Account Creation and Management

2.1 User Registration

To access the services, users must create an account with accurate and up-to-date information (name, email address, phone number, password).

2.2 Account Responsibility

Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login details. Any fraudulent use or unauthorized access must be reported immediately to Bel Abidjan.

2.3 Provider Account

Providers must supply detailed information about their services, pricing, and conditions. Bel Abidjan reserves the right to suspend or delete an account if misleading information is provided or if the rules are not respected.

3. Use of the Platform

3.1 Obligations of Users (Travelers)

  • Travelers must provide accurate information when making a booking.
  • They must respect the conditions set by each provider (schedules, participation rules, payments).
  • Any abusive, fraudulent, or disrespectful behavior will result in the immediate suspension of the account.

3.2 Obligations of Providers

  • Providers must ensure the accuracy of the information published (pricing, availability, description).
  • They commit to honoring confirmed bookings and maintaining the quality of their services.
  • They must comply with applicable laws in Côte d’Ivoire, particularly regarding taxation, safety, and labor regulations.

3.3 Prohibited Uses

It is strictly forbidden to:

  • Publish illegal, defamatory, or misleading content.
  • Bypass the reservation system and deal directly with users outside of Bel Abidjan.
  • Compromise the security of the site or user data.

4. Bookings and Payments

4.1 Booking Process

Any booking made via the platform constitutes a firm commitment. A confirmation email is sent to both the user and the provider.

4.2 Payments

Payments are processed online by credit card or secure mobile payment solutions. Bel Abidjan collects the amounts on behalf of the providers before transferring them.

4.3 Fees and Commissions

Bel Abidjan is remunerated through a commission on each transaction, the percentage of which is communicated to providers upon registration.

5. Liability

5.1 Liability of Bel Abidjan

Bel Abidjan makes every effort to ensure the proper functioning of the site but cannot be held responsible for:

  • Temporary technical failures.
  • Incorrect information provided by a provider.
  • Disputes between a user and a provider.

5.2 Liability of Providers

Each provider is solely responsible for the services delivered, their conformity with the description, and compliance with safety standards.

5.3 Liability of Users

Each user is responsible for their choices, bookings, and conduct towards providers and other travelers.

6. Personal Data Protection

The collection and processing of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://belabidjan.com/privacy-policy.

7. Modification of Terms

Bel Abidjan reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Users and providers will be notified of changes by email or via a notification on the platform.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Ivorian law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance shall be submitted to the competent courts of Abidjan.
